My story is about a rabbit thief who steals the rabbits to feed her habit. The steps the rabbit thief goes through are detailed. She steals the rabbit from the owner's back yard. Wants to use it for profiting.

Is it okay to do the story from the rabbit thief's point of view or do I need to do it from the owner's point of view? Would an omniscient point of view be okay for a short story?

It's your story, I think you should do whatever POV works best.  :)Is the main character the thief, or the owner? That may help you decide.
Most of the short fiction I've had published worked best with first person for some reason. Although I did do one with an omniscient POV.

The Main Character is more interesting honestly because of her wacky ideas. She doesn't think much about her movements and think going to church forgives everything.

I just wasn't sure about her being my MC since she's the trouble maker, but I think she might work.  I do better with articles than stories.
