Kindness ROCKS!

To commemorate the release of their book The Emotion Thesaurus http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13554235-the-emotion-thesaurus, Becca and Angela at The Bookshelf Muse http://thebookshelfmuse.blogspot.com/ are hosting a TITANIC Random Act Of Kindness BLITZ. And because I think KINDNESS is contagious, I'm participating too!

I am BLITZing Mary Rosenblum.

Mary is a gem. A treasure. She has been an encourager to every writer she comes in contact with. She puts out the LRWG newsletter, manages this forum, teaches, gives talks at conferences, works with private clients, wrote the manual for the LRWG novel course, has raised two children and worked a farm. And I’m sure there’s loads more I don’t know about.
She has helped me over and over again. Helped me to laugh at myself and put up with me when I’m frustrated with myself. Because of her, I’m still working on my novel.

MARY, YOU ROCK!  :-D

Do you know someone special that you'd like to randomly acknowledge? Don't be shy--come join us and celebrate! Send them an email, give them a shout out, or show your appreciation in another way. Kindness makes the world go round. Smiley
Becca and Angela have a special RAOK gift waiting for you as well, so hop on over to The Bookshelf Muse to pick it up.
Have you ever participated in or been the recipient of a Random Act Of Kindness?  Let me know in the comments!

This is really neat. I think we can all easily BLITZ Mary. She is ever the encourager, and I can think of numerous times when, just with a comment or two, she's given me a spurt of enthusiasm for the craft of writing.
(I like the idea of BLITZing.)

Year ago I did the ICL course during that time I went into the LR chat and it was there I heard about our "Mary". All I did after that was wish, pray, put it out there, as they say that someday, I to would have Mary. It was that inner gut feeling I knew that Mary would bring out the best in my writing. Not even a lottery win would give me the feeling I had on the day an email arrived from Mary offering to be my instructor. I support all the comments in regards to Mary.

I'd also like to add to those folk on Post a Note who I have sent a personal email to with a 'help' sign and received the reply back while I am sleeping (that being me in Australia). Mary takes on the big stuff but it is the likes of Lizbeth, Humi, Voca to name a few who I am extremely grateful to as well with their acts of kindness.

Y’all said it beautifully!  I don’t know of any other established author who goes above and beyond to help new writers as she has.  Mary, you are wonderful indeed!  Smiley

So funny. I will find you. Think myself a bit of an expert on finding people. Ooops wrong colour skin, wrong country. Our workers always loved to hide and I loved finding them.
