Humeira is easy to pronounce, although it might be pronounced  wrong!   Smiley  I'd go with it.  But here's how must Americans will pronounce it:  a:  Hume -- may -- ra.     b:  Hume - my - ra.  Which is correct?  I'm curious  I have been thinking of it as Hume-may-ra,.  Or does it have a long  i sound?

Thanks to everyone for your help with pen names. I appreciate it. To answer MBJ451; I want to use a pen name because I like my privacy, and I'm considering writing different genres such as womens fiction & nonfiction and YA and perhaps childrens fiction as well.
Mary, Thanks for your input as well.
Have a good one ya'll

No offense intended, Beverly. Having a little fun. If you want anonymity pick a name like you were naming a child. Chose a name you love.

Humi I just have to say this. My daughter's friend has a cute little girl same age as two of my grandchildren aged six. They go to the same school. I've just twigged you know the derrr light bulb just gone on...this little girl has your name. I've heard her name from the mother, my daughter, the grandkids and said hi to the child myself. I thought it was a sweet unusual name but never seen it spelt. It wasn't until I saw Mary pronounce it out that I thought Hey that is Emma's little girl's name. I thought they had made it up. lol Now i will ask her where did she get it from as her husband is not Aussie. Hey just a bit of trivia lol

The father's name is Jordon. Must find out now where the family came from. I like the name and it sure fits this little girl.
