Bookkeeper.  Which, considering I failed math all through high school, is really quite surprising.

My background is library science, knowledge management, business research, and business editing. A few years ago, a large company bought the consulting company I worked for and closed the Boston office.

Now, my wonderful husband pays all the bills.

I work in the local library system as a library assistant (in essence a librarian without the library degree -- my degree is in history).

I am a Pension Analyst, which is weird because I hate math and don't understand it...So what do I do? Math. And I annoy everyone in my office by editing and proofreading all our office correspondence!!!  Smiley

I'm a supervisor for an Engineering Operations Center for a cable company. We monitor the cable and fiber network to make sure things are working and any outages are taken care of quickly. It was supposed to be an easy job where I would have plenty of time to write at work. So much for getting paid to write, right? LOL

Right now, I'm a stay-at-home mom that makes a little from my writing. Thankfully I have a husband that brings in enough that we can live off of his salary.

Proximity to the river will be convenient for baptizing the baby though.
